The Emaar South project was centered on redefining the architectural boundaries of a modern townhouse through the strategic use of horizontal and vertical planes. Our mission was to transition the property from its standard developer finish into a bespoke residence characterized by depth and texture. We focused on a high-precision installation of premium flooring that spans the entire ground floor, ensuring a perfectly level, seamless surface that enhances the home’s flow. By eliminating traditional transitions and utilizing large-format materials, we achieved a contemporary, expansive feel that mirrors the open-air luxury of the surrounding community.
Complementing the ground-level transformation, our gypsum team executed an intricate ceiling master plan designed to integrate both form and function. This involved the construction of minimalist bulkheads and shadow-gap false ceilings that serve as the housing for hidden HVAC diffusers and smart lighting systems. The interplay between the solid, grounded texture of the new flooring and the light, sculpted geometry of the gypsum works created a sophisticated “envelope” of design. This project highlights our ability to manage the technical complexities of sub-floor preparation and ceiling suspension while maintaining a flawless, breathable aesthetic.
