Why our waterproofing and tiling standard is different
Most bathroom failures in Dubai are waterproofing failures hidden under otherwise beautiful tile. Our bathroom renovations apply a liquid or cementitious waterproof membrane to the full floor, with the membrane turned up the walls to a minimum of 300mm throughout the room and full height inside the shower area. Every pipe penetration is collared, every floor to wall junction is reinforced and the whole assembly is pressure tested with water before tiling begins. It is slower than cutting corners, but it is why our bathrooms do not leak.

What is the difference between a wet room and a standard shower enclosure?
A wet room is fully tiled and waterproofed across the whole floor with a linear drain, with minimal or no upstand around the shower. A standard shower enclosure has a defined tray or curbed area with its own waterproofed base. Wet rooms look cleaner but need careful fall calculation and high quality waterproofing.
Do you supply the sanitary ware or do I buy it?
Either. If we supply it, your quote is fully itemised with brand and model. If you supply it, share the specifications early so we can plan rough in dimensions accurately.
